Hi, I'm Jen, founder of Secondhand Sweeties.

For more than 30 years, I've been married to my husband, Ed. Together we've raised two wonderful daughters, Alexi (22) and Annika (16), and our home is also shared with our two dogs, Thor and Denis. Family has always been at the center of everything I do, and as an aunt to nieces and nephews ranging in age from 2 to 25, I've had a front-row seat to just how quickly children outgrow clothes, toys, books, and gear.

What started as a simple favor for my sister turned into something much bigger. She needed help selling her children's outgrown items, so I stepped in to sort, photograph, list, and manage the sales process. Soon after, a friend asked for help with her items, too. Then another. Before long, I realized there were many busy families who wanted to reclaim space in their homes but didn't have the time or energy to handle the resale process themselves.

That's how Secondhand Sweeties was born.

Today, I provide a done-for-you resale service that helps families turn clutter into cash while giving quality items a second life. From pickup and sorting to pricing, listing, selling, and reporting, I handle every step with care and attention to detail.

One of my core values is simple: I treat every client's items as if they were my own. I understand that these aren't just things—they represent memories, milestones, and investments made for growing families. My goal is to maximize the value of each item while making the process easy, transparent, and stress-free.
